Dominique L. Cureton!

Dominique holds the rank of 3rd  Degree Black Belt in Tang Soo Do and 1st Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo. She began studying Tang Soo Do at the age of 10 and quickly developed a love for the art and has dedicated a tremendous amount of her spare time to the study of Tang Soo Do over the past several years ultimately earning her Black Belt in 2011. She began cross training in Taekwondo and earned her 1st degree Black Belt in Taekwondo in 2013. Dominique is a 2014 Graduate of Jack Britt High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honor Society. She was also a member of the Dance team and Varsity Cheer Leading team. Dominique is also a 2009, 2010 and a 2011 USGTSDA/WDU National Champion, a 2012 and 2013 AAU State Champion, pharm a 2012 AAU Junior Olympic Champion and she has demonstrated Olympic level martial arts skills over the past several years. She is becoming very adept in archery and women’s self-defense and plans to spend some of her time helping young women develop effective self-defense skills while in college.   Dominique currently attends West Virginia University where she is a freshman World Language major. She hopes to become a member of the WVU dance team and plans to attend medical school upon completing her undergraduate studies. Dominique hopes to one day own a martial arts training facility where she will focus on women’s self-defense when not practicing medicine. Dominique enjoys Tang Soo Do, Dancing, Archery, reading, eating and spending leisure time with her family and friends.
